zen and the art of bit rot

I hadn't touched this space for at least four or five years. Originally this started when I was given free Internet dialup during grad school ('96?) as a way to learn HTML syntax. Eventually it just got out of control and it was easier to ignore it.

Beyond the obvious redesign, the backend is now managed by Website Baker, a content management system (or CMS in techno-babble). Most, but not all of the previous documents made the transition. Hopefully, this'll make it easier for me to maintain and add new pages.

In case you're curious about the um, excessively bright color scheme, you can shut it. I thought I'd have a little fun with color. Besides, it matches my hair (not actually kidding).
