  • Intel Secrets Page (X86.org): Question about your Intel processor? Secrets Intel doesn't want you to know...
  • Intelligent Firmware Ltd.: A good site with processor performance information and shareware benchmarking programs.
  • Motherboard Homeworld: This is where you should start if you have any questions about motherboards.
  • MR BIOS (Microid Technologies): Excellent BIOS (no longer shareware) to make your expensive machine hum.

  • Tom's Hardware & Performance Guide: Answers to just about everything you've ever wondered about your hardware. A great place to look if you're into tweaking your system at all.
  • Wim's BIOS Page: Looking for a particular BIOS for your motherboard? You'll probably find it here. HUGE list!

  • USENET FAQs: Master list of all USENET FAQs. 
  • CD-Recordable FAQ: Great FAQ on CD-Recordable technology. 
  • Cookies FAQ: Everything you've ever wanted to know about cookies.
  • DVD FAQ: From alt.video.dvd.
  • EIDE/Fast ATA FAQ: A pretty good place to start with your Hard drive, CD-ROM questions.

  • Microsoft (ftp): You'll find the latest updates from drivers to operating systems in the software library. 
  • Shareware.com- from C/Net: What? You don't like free software?
  • Stroud's Consumate Winsock Applications Collection: If you use the internet at all, you'll find this page useful. Download everything from winsocks, plugins, to Html page editors.
